Why I built this.
I didn't come from a TV studio or a meteorology degree. I came from a genuine obsession with the sky and a frustration that most Australians were getting watered-down, too-late severe weather information. CyclonesOZ started as a YouTube channel. Then a Facebook page. Then a subscriber platform. At every step the mission was the same: give Australians the detailed, no-nonsense severe weather intelligence they actually need — hours or days before something dangerous arrives. I cover cyclones, severe thunderstorms, floods, and everything in between, across all 13 sectors of Australia. If you've found your way here, you probably already know what this is. Welcome.
